HOW TO CREATE YOUR SANKALPA
Sankalpa: An intention formed by the heart and mind – a solemn vow, determination, or will. It is your deepest desire of who you want to be. It is your truth you want to stand in. This intention will help you come back to your truth when you get out of balance.

What are you contributing to the world every day? How do you want to raise your vibration and the energy around you? Can you recognize your impact on the world? You may not know it, but you are emitting high or low vibrations, every moment of every day! When you develop your sankalpa, you are cultivating your own personal mission to tap into your high vibrational state. I like to think of my sankalpa as how I am making a high vibrational impact in my life and those who surround me.
A “high vibe” attitude can benefit not only yourself, but others around you too – loved ones, acquaintances, and strangers. Did you know that you are emitting your own frequency, and you affect others’ frequencies when they are within three feet of you. How cool is that! I firmly believe that creating your sankalpa will guide you in the direction to tune in to your authentic self, which is your high vibrational state. This state is also called love, and it’s a continuous pleasant state of mind. You are love! How awesome is that!
Your sankalpa will be a gentle reminder to the person you want to be, every day. But it takes more then creating your sankalpa for this to transform your life. A little reminder, this intention works best when you are 100% honest with yourself. Remember, you can change your sankalpa whenever you feel it is best. This is not your “lifelong intention!” We are all bound to change in our life.
My tip is that you must not only create your highest truth. You must radiate it. This is your high vibrational state. This is the gold I am talking about. This is where you have the ability to recognize, and the skill to tap into and connect with on a daily. This radiates you at your highest frequency.
Rewind to last November, 2017, where I developed my sankalpa in Costa Rica, on a yoga retreat. Cliché, I know. Life changing though, definitely. It took me a couple days to dig deep, but then I uncovered my true self. Practice, practice, practice. Thank you to yoga, meditation, gratitude, and mindfulness on this life long journey.
My Sankalpa: I feel alive, awake, and open, spreading sweet compassion, love, and kindness throughout my day.
