Meditation is Pure Love

When 2017 started, it was my resolution to cultivate a daily meditation practice. I knew that meditating was doing something good for me (but I couldn’t quite explain it), so I wanted it to evolve into a conscious daily habit. However, I had no clue that this new part of my routine would completely transform my life. My consistent meditation practice has allowed so much growth in my life this year. Not only on a spiritual level, but also on an emotional, mental, and physical level as well. Meditation is one of the greatest things that we can all tap into while we live on this planet. I truly believe meditation is overflowing pure bliss wrapped in love. That’s why I practice daily, and I’m passionate about spreading this practice with those that will listen.

I know firsthand that the hardest part of meditation is cultivating your daily practice. Practice, practice, practice. Whether it’s meditating for a quick two minutes or sitting down for a fifteen minute session. My greatest advice is to keep putting in the time and effort. I can promise you that once your meditation practice becomes consistent, you will start to crave more and more time to meditate. Your ten minute meditations will lead you to wanting to do another ten minute meditation, or maybe try a twenty minute meditation. Then one day, you’ll be meditating for over 30 minutes day in and day out. You will truly appreciate (and look forward to) the time you set aside every day to meditate because you know how wonderful it feels to be aligned. My meditation practice has allowed more days of pure bliss, happiness, joy, peace, appreciation, connection and overall alignment than I have experienced in my life. I especially love how meditation allows me to radiate my high vibrational self throughout the day.

So, alignment. What is it exactly? Alignment is pure inner peace and having a baseline pleasant state of mind. It’s a grounded version of yourself that exhibits a glowing version of yourself.  You experience gratitude on a deeper level. You are able to feel how you are absolute love. You’re connected on a deeper level with the Universe that is completely priceless (and also pretty tricky to explain). Essentially, you are able to radiate the high vibrational version of yourself, because you have tapped in to all of the things in your life that you appreciate as miracles. You’re able to feel your inhales come into your body and experience your long exhales. You are in the present moment, aligned and connected with all that is right in the world.

Once you truly feel — on a cell-bursting-blissed-out-all-day-type-of-feeling —  your first alignment during a meditation experience, you will know exactly what I am talking about. You will truly understand what alignment means, and how felt deeper inner peace, joy, happiness, love, empowerment, and another other high vibration that you connect with in that moment. It’s beyond any words, because it’s one of the greatest feelings you can have in your life: to feel completely aligned.

What I do know is a few basics. The more positively I think about things, the happier I feel. I believe this to be the Law of Attraction working. Also, the quicker I pivot from low vibrations to high vibrations (usually using mantras, positive affirmations, or meditation), the more at peace I feel. The more I think about what I’m grateful for, the more abundant I feel. The more that I tap into connecting to my breath in the morning, the more grounded and pleasant I feel. In 2019, I’m looking forward to tracking more of this on a daily basis so I will be able to further explain about living a high vibrational lifestyle.

So, back to meditation: what it is, how does it affect your life, and what forms does it come in? Well to put it simply, meditation is pure love. Once you learn to love and appreciate your daily meditation practice, you will think of it in larger context. Meditation isn’t just sitting on a bolster, closing your eyes, and tapping into your mind, body, and soul connection for an allotted amount of time. It’s about tapping into it every day throughout the rest of your life. It’s being able to mindfully acknowledge and slow down your breath, from the moment you wake up and start your day. Meditation comes in the form of mindfulness, gratitude, and exercise that each and everyone of us has access to. I know that I will continue with my 2018 resolution (my daily meditation practice) for the rest of my life because there is no greater version of myself in the world than when I’m aligned.

In 2019, I want to be able to evolve and fine tune how to live a daily high vibrational life. I’m looking forward to reading more books, teaching yoga again, and developing a greater knowledge in my current interests (crystals, vibrational healing, energy, chakras, etc.) to share on this platform and in my yoga practice. I’m also looking forward to the day where I create a helpful in depth guide for those wanting to learn more about cultivating a high vibrational life, because it truly is a process that requires patience. I’ll save my big life dreams for myself, but you can bet your bum that I have them and think about them quite often. Cheers to the end of a year and a bright beginning to another. I hope this new year brings you every ounce of happiness, inner peace, and abundance that you deserve!

xx
